The Framework of Digital Competences will define the key components of competences needed by adult educators/trainers to effectively integrate digital tools and media education into their localized contexts, as well as to provide and validate an EU reference framework for developing and evaluating digital competence. This framework will allow:
– definition of media education knowledge and skills required to deal with adults
– development and proposal of guideline, courses and training opportunities for the target groups based on the framework

 

Based on the key skills and competences recognized and included in Digital competencies framework, the Handbook will be a valid support tool for
adult educators who work with adults. will allow:
– definition of media education knowledge and skills required to deal with adults
– development and proposal of guideline, courses and training opportunities for the target groups based on the framework.
The development of a competency framework is an effective method to assess, maintain, and monitor the target groups’
knowledge, skills and attributes in media education for adults.

Digital media & Digital skills

It will provide adult educators with an in-depth understanding of digital media and an understanding of digital literacy and key digital skills, such as content creation, online communication or the ability to ensure digital privacy. It will be a package of digital learning resources designed on the basis of the concept of micro-learning: short and coherent learning suggestions delivered in multimedia formats with the aim of promoting blended learning methodologies. The digital learning nuggets will include a variety of resources such as interactive games, podcasts, e-learning videos, interactive case studies, infographic resources, etc. Lessons and activities entrusted to experts, through the LTTA. The 3-day training session will be organized in IE for educators, facilitators and volunteers working with adult learners. The goal is to bring together experts and have a common understanding of Project Outcomes and to design and create highly engaging practical activity scenarios to support adult learners.

This result will guide decision makers with expert opinion, recommendations and analytical research, through a problem overview and targeted analysis. It will offer a solution to each of the problems encountered and identified during the project, from an authoritative perspective based on thorough research. This result will ensure the availability and sustainability of the project results; it will guarantee the highest possible level of transferability of the tools, materials and methodologies developed within the project. It will also contain a specific section that will collect the results of the PILOT TEST and the international and local LTTAs.
